Meeting dates and times should be agreed at least 2 weeks in advance. The agenda should be put together by the Programme Leader in consultation with the Student Representatives at least one week in advance of the meeting. It is the responsibility of the Programme Leader to invite lecturers to attend the meeting where there is a specific agenda item for which their presence is required. Feedback to students on their feedback via questionnaires should be included on the agenda. This would normally involve feeding back to the current cohort comments from the previous cohort. Minutes should be circulated to all members of the committee within 2 weeks of the meeting. Action points should be noted and prompt feedback given directly to student representatives where appropriate. Such feedback should be recorded under matters arising in the following meeting. The last set of minutes from the previous year's cohort should be tabled at the first meeting of the CCM each year, to facilitate continuity. Programme Leaders should discuss matters raised by student representatives directly with staff teaching on the course. If it should be necessary to take a matter beyond this, the member of staff should be informed and the matter raised either with the module tutor or the division leader as appropriate. |
