The BA (Hons) Accounting programme is highly structured and optimised to gain significant exemptions from the examinations of a wide range of professional accountancy bodies. Accordingly, the opportunities to include option choices is severely limited. The recent policy of Newcastle Business School has also been to reduce the availability of option modules in all its programmes.
